[It wasn't that Pickles had a bad memory--it was actually pretty good considering his drug abuse. But sometimes (most often after he's had something to drink) he misplaces information, and has to fish through his messy head space for the one he was looking for.]
Army of Darkness. You fucked Bruce Campbell an' everything.
[It doesn't surprise Pickles that he almost forgot Sheila when she didn't have that much screen time, but it comes rushing back once the connection is made.]
[Though after he says it, he feels awkward, realizing that she must be the real thing. Not the actress, but the character somehow. The Core somehow made Batman come to life and had him running around the Port...somehow it did that to this chick, as well.] Uhh...that's what we called him in my world.
From what I remember, yeah. I mean, it's been a while, but I remember him fightin' off his evil clone an' everything. An' it's Bruce fuckin' Campbell. Of course he's gonna kick ass in the end.
[A beat.] What uhh...what do you remember last from bein' home?
[There is a long, slow exhalation on Sheila's side of the phone. Pickles might not know it, but he's undone one of the biggest worries Sheila's been bearing. She beams at the stupid hunk of plastic in her hand. Her faith has been rewarded and restored.]
Thankee....I didst know that he would save us...
[And his question disconcerts her abruptly.]
...A demon didst steal me from the bailey. I still bear the mark of his claw 'pon my flesh. Why didst thou wonder so?
[Pickles means this to brush off her gratitude, but it also seems to stretch to her concerns about home.
Then it's a good thing that she can't see him when he frowns at her question. More details of the movie are coming back to him, now, and he remembers what happens to her--turning into a Deadite and all. He fumbles a bit, but doesn't want to be the one to tell her that detail, either.]
No reason. Just...I dunno. I know a lotta fucked up shit was goin' on in yer world, y'know?
Nay, I owe thee a great many things for such kindness.
Aye...'tis odd to imagine that others might know of what art afoot within my kingdom. I hath watched others been taken by this foul curse; 'tis terrible.

Re: [Audio]

[Ouch, her medieval sense of propriety.]

Hath he grown so famous in other universes, though he lacketh the name?
...Can ye tell me something?
[You have a slightly emotional ladytype on your hands, Pickles. What do you do?]
[Audio]
...Yeah. What is it?
[Audio]
[Her tone's still slightly sad.]
...Didst he save my people?
[She cannot ask about her own fate. It would be a sin against whatever plan has been made for her.]

[Audio] [I never got this notif holy crap.]
[There's a slight grimmace as she does so, but he can't see her face.]
I doeth not.
